In the News: Hunters reminded they can wear pink

Many new laws need to be accompanied by changes in state-agency rules, and an example is the hunter-pink law created by my Senate Bill 5148, which was passed unanimously by the Legislature this year. As reported in The Columbian’s Oct. 24 “Out and About” column, the state Fish and Wildlife Commission recently approved an updated rule making it legal for Washington hunters to now wear fluorescent pink as safety clothing instead of or in addition to orange.
