Rep. Linda Wilson, R-Vancouver talked with the Freedom Foundation about recent proposed legislation on gun control, and explained weapons in a way that many listeners may not have heard.  Wilson shared that she is a certified, licensed NRA instructor, as are her two daughters.  The Republican lawmaker encouraged listeners to be aware of issues at the local level, including having an awareness of what rules local leaders are putting in place.  She shared two instances in which she was able to bring about change simply by addressing concerns about local ordinances.
