Reps. Lynda Wilson, and Paul Harris, both R-Vancouver, will host a telephone town hall on Wednesday, April 1 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. They invite all 17th Legislative District residents to join them for an hour-long community conversation on state legislative issues.
“These events provide an excellent opportunity for me to hear directly from the people I represent in Olympia,” said Wilson. “My hope is this call makes it easy and convenient for residents in the 17th District to participate in their government. I strongly believe that government is always better when citizens have a clear voice in what is being debated.”
“I look forward to checking in with constituents about some of the important issues we are debating this legislative session such as transportation, education funding and environmental issues. These telephone town hall forums are a great way to get input from the constituents I serve,” said Harris.
To participate, residents can call (360) 588-5068. If listeners have questions during the call they can press the star (*) key on their telephone keypads.
Residents unable to participate, or with questions before the event, can contact Wilson by calling her Olympia office at (360) 786-7994. Harris can be reached at his Olympia office by calling (360) 786-7976.
