Rep. Lynda Wilson’s Update from Olympia | July 10, 2015 | Session Adjourned!

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

After 176 days of session, including three special sessions, the Legislature has adjourned for 2015. Today, legislators convened in Olympia for votes on the transportation bond, which goes along with the revenue package passed last week, and a bill deferring the biology test requirement for high school graduation. As I wrote earlier this week, we made considerable gains in funding basic education and invested in Washington’s future by providing the first college-tuition reduction in history – without raising any new taxes. These are accomplishments we can be proud of, and build on, as we look ahead to next session.

I end my first session as your representative energized, and eager to get back to work in our community. I look forward to hearing from you throughout the year, and hope you have a safe and relaxing summer!

Yours in service,

Lynda Wilson
