“I am honored to be a voice for the people of the 17th Legislative District,” said Wilson, R-Vancouver. “I am excited to work on the issues facing our state, including passing a balanced, sustainable budget without raising taxes, growing our economy, and fully funding education. The next 105 days will present challenges, but also opportunities to work in a bipartisan manner to solve problems for all Washingtonians.”

Wilson will serve on the Transportation Committee and the Public Safety Committee.

“I am grateful to House Republican Caucus leaders for entrusting me with this responsibility,” Wilson said. “I look forward to working on critical reforms within the Department of Transportation, supporting rank and file employees while holding their leadership accountable and investing our tax dollars efficiently.”

The 2015 legislative session is scheduled to last 105 days. Rep. Wilson can be reached at her office in 418 John L. O’Brien Building on the Capitol Campus or via e-mail at lynda.wilson@leg.wa.gov or phone at 360-786-7994.
